I took one picture with my usual camera before my (AA rechargables) died. It would have been very pretty had it been in focus. So instead, here are my last two Polaroids until a not-so-expensive alternative presents itself.

This might not be rhododendron, it might be something else which looks very similar, but the name escapes me. I think we have one of each (rhododendron and not-rhododendron). I love that they both look totally alien before blooming.

There’s a moodiness to this that I like, but I’m having a hard time figuring out the aperture (such as it is); the pictures on this roll came out either over or under exposed. I’ll put a few more up … Continue reading →
