Day 200. Dandelion.

Who says dandelions aren’t pretty?

Day 199. Watering Can.

This was a surprisingly difficult picture to take. Trying to expose the watering can well meant blowing out the sky, metering on the sky left the watering can much too dark. This was the compromise, the balance is ok, though the sky is still a little bright.

Day 198. Mystery Building.

This is the same building from Day 192, but digital and in focus. It is divided into apartments, but it looks like it might have been something else in it’s better days, something more dignified.

Day 196. False Forget-Me-Nots.

This is the picture I wanted to post yesterday, except this time it is mostly in focus. I love how whoever named couldn’t think of a better name than “False Forget-Me-Not”. They look like Forget-Me-Not, but they aren’t, so they are False. But still pretty.

Day 195. Yellow Polaroids.

I took one picture with my usual camera before my (AA rechargables) died. It would have been very pretty had it been in focus. So instead, here are my last two Polaroids until a not-so-expensive alternative presents itself.

Day 194. Rhododendron.

This might not be rhododendron, it might be something else which looks very similar, but the name escapes me. I think we have one of each (rhododendron and not-rhododendron). I love that they both look totally alien before blooming.

Day 192. Holga.

There’s a moodiness to this that I like, but I’m having a hard time figuring out the aperture (such as it is); the pictures on this roll came out either over or under exposed. I’ll put a few more up at Flickr.

Day 191. White Flower.

This is some kind of flowering tree in front of our house, I should know what it is, but I don’t.
