Day 160. Grass Blades.

I had another (pretty terrible) picture to post yesterday before leaving, but couldn’t bring myself to do it. I took the camera out with me when I let the dog out and she got lots of sniffing in while I took pictures. This is the very last one I took and is straight out of the camera. I dickered with levels and color but just really like it the way it is. I also like this picture fairly well, but could not get the color right. Orange works for dried grass, but not so much for birch bark.

Day 155. Reflection.

You know how this is “a picture a day”? I took one picture yesterday: this one.

Day 154. Law Student.

Unfortunately you can’t tell that this guy is in the Law Quad.

Day 153. Red Tulip.

So, I took many pictures of the tulips last night, some are better than others. I’m going with this one because I like the composition and and the colors — there’s something kind of romantic about it. The others are in my Flickr stream.

Day 152. Yellow Tulip.

Well, at least the lack of focus in this one looks relatively deliberate. I’m going to try again tonight, this time using a tripod.

Day 151. Amanda.

After going back and forth (and back and forth, then calling in reinforcements), I’m going with the Black and White (the color version is here). I am having problems focusing these days.
