It’s a long story, but Len is now the proud owner of a 1967 BSA Lightning 650 (do you like how the 650 is done up in address numbers, very retro chic). The engine seems to be in good shape, but everything else will need to be replaced, repaired, or re-chromed. I’d like to think this will be a winter project, but I’m not that gullible. And before you ask, yes, I approve wholeheartedly of this purchase. I love good design and the BSA is beautiful.
