I mean, it’s fine, nothing wrong with a fence post I always say (I’ve never said that), but my intention was for the structure in the background to be in focus as well. The day was overcast and I left the tripod in my car, so I was shooting pretty wide open (f/4 or f/5.6) so I could maintain a fast shutter speed. I had a choice between the fence and the building, so I went with the post. Next time I will use the tripod and also shoot this one in color, the structure has worn off red paint on it which I think will be nice in color.
